United Talent Staffing is currently hiring a Quality Control Technician in the Dallas, GA area!

Job Duties:
  • Perform routine and non-routine tests to support the QC laboratory in testing all samples.
  • Organize and prioritize workload as directed, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely completion of tasks.
  • Test raw materials and finished products daily based on backlogs and shipment schedules. Communicate testing priorities and work schedules to coworkers and management.
  • Inspect and maintain laboratory equipment, including Vicat apparatus, air jet sieves, hardness testers, weigh scales, and more.
  • Identify nonconforming products and complete required documentation such as the "Questionable Material Form." Tag pallets with a "Hold" sticker and re-test batches if necessary.
  • Record and report test data accurately in laboratory database systems (e.g., Infinity QS). Monitor SPC charts for trends and notify management of unusual occurrences.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and ensure proper filing of raw material certificates of analysis.
  • Maintain a clean and professional laboratory environment, adhering to daily housekeeping practices.
  • Assist in collecting and sending product samples/data for external review or requests from R&D or Technical Services.
  • Train and provide guidance to QC personnel as needed.
  • Travel to support QC testing at other plants, as required.

Pay and Shift:
Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work for 2 hours. Additional responsibilities include taking home samples and completing data entry.
Pay: $18 – $20/hour based on experience.

Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of Quality Control experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with laboratory experience. An associate degree is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to laboratory work.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration skills, and adaptability.
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
