United Talent Staffing is currently hiring CNC Operator in the Powder Springs, GA area!
Job Duties:
• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, turning, and other machining operations.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper performance and quality output.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining processes and tooling required.
• Inspect finished parts and components for quality and accuracy.
• Rework wood to create the blueprint design.
• Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn tooling and machine components.
• Enter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC.
• Collaborate with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and quality control.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay and Shift:
-
1st -shift, Monday-Thursday. 6:30am to 5pm

Pay: $18-$24 an hour (based on experience)
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (SCM, HOMAG, etc.) in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC G-Code preferred.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and programming.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge of wood machinery
• Excellent reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of mechanics and mathematics
• Ability to interpret 3D drawings and orthographic projection.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (SCM, HOMAG, etc.) in a manufacturing setting preferred.
