Brad Sims

Owner
Brad has been president and owner of United Talent since 1998, purchasing the company his father and grandfather started in 1967.

Over the course of his career, Brad has served on numerous community boards and organizations including Mountain State YPO, Junior Achievement of West Virginia (JA), Religious Coalition for Community Renewal (RCCR), Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center, WV Workforce Investment Board, Rotary Club of Charleston, and Fund for the Arts. Brad served as President of the boards for YPO, JA, Roark-Sullivan and Rotary and has served on the worship team of River Ridge Church for many years.

He earned his Bachelor of Science from Presbyterian College in 1993 and his MBA from West Virginia University in 2000. Brad and his wife Angela have two children, Zoey and Shepherd.

Matt Parker

CEO
Matt leads United Talent’s day-to-day operation, setting the strategic vision, business, and sales and service strategies. Since he joined the company in 2017, he has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint beyond West Virginia and leading its acquisition strategy. Under Matt’s leadership, United Talent is poised to continue its expansion and cement its reputation as the most personal staffing company for businesses and job seekers across the Southeast.

Matt is a staffing industry veteran, with more than 20 years of industry experience and an extensive background in sales, operations, and service delivery. Prior to joining United Talent, he led the national accounts division of a global industrial staffing company, where he was responsible for client relations and service excellence across North America.

Matt holds a master’s degree in Organization Change and is a U.S. Marine. He is an active member of Vistage and Affiliated Staffing Group business organizations. Away from work Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, football and basketball, and traveling.

Justin Evans

Controller
A native of Huntington, WV, Justin joined United Talent in 2018. His background includes accounting and finance positions with First Guaranty Bank and the CFO role at Champion Industries Inc. His interest in continuing to help companies grow brought Justin to United Talent.

Justin is a CPA and graduate of Marshall University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting.

Justin lives in Huntington, WV, with his wife, Jessica, their two children.

Tammy Holstine

VP Human Resources
Tammy joined United Talent in 2012 as Controller and Human Resources Director. As the company grew, her role was split and today she focuses exclusively on HR where she leads the company’s human resources, safety and compliance program and is a member of the company’s executive team.

Prior to joining United Talent, Tammy held payroll, accounting and HR director positions in higher education, distribution, and staffing. Originally from Charleston, WV, Tammy is a graduate of Marshall University.

Tammy and her husband Mark have two sons and a dachshund name Scooter. Away from the office, she enjoys boating, riding her side-by-side, and relaxing in the mountains of Pocahontas County or the beaches of Topsail Island.

John Spencer

Director, Onsite Solutions
John is a native of Huntington, WV. He grew up in a small business that his father owned and has carried the values of hard work, customer service and entrepreneurship into his own career.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities from Marshall University. He began his professional career in the retail sector before joining the staffing industry in 2006. Since then, John has worked in onsite staffing with several large manufacturers, providing managed solutions for their production needs.

In 2013, John earned his Master Certificate in LEAN Manufacturing and is currently working on his Six Sigma Green Belt.

Brandi Clemente

Director of Operations
Brandi joined United Talent in 2019 following more than 14 years in operations, branch management, RPO, and onsite solutions roles in the staffing industry. Today, she manages sales and operations across the United Talent organization with a focus on cultivating and growing relationships with clients and prospects. In addition, she works with our branch managers to design custom hiring processes and develop recruitment marketing programs.

Brandi is a U.S. Navy veteran and a native of Milwaukee, WI.

Kevin Uhrig

Director of Operations
Kevin has more than 16 years of staffing industry experience and a strong background in leadership, sales, and operations. He brings to United Talent a strong history of opening new locations and turning poor performing markets into successful revenue generating juggernauts. As our Director of Operations, Kevin is responsible for driving the company’s expansion into Ohio and surrounding states. He also oversees the company’s offices in Morgantown and Parkersburg, WV, and Columbus, OH.

Kevin earned a BSBA degree from Davenport University. In his spare time, he has a passion for music and sings in a rock band and is a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Kevin, his wife Joanna and their four children reside in Pennsylvania.
