Diesel/Heavy Truck Mechanic – Charleston, WV
United Talent Staffing is currently seeking a Diesel/Heavy Truck Mechanic for Charleston Auto in Charleston, WV! This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced mechanic with leadership and customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy trucks
• Handle electrical, suspension, tire, and wet line systems
• Write service orders and communicate with customers in a service writer capacity
• Lead and mentor a team of mechanics/technicians
• Document all work performed and ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Collaborate with management on workflow, scheduling, and shop operations

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Heavy Truck Mechanic
• Service writer experience and team lead/supervisory skills required
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, suspensions, tires, and wet line systems
• Class B CDL preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay and Shift:
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Pay Range: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
