United Talent is IMMEDIATELY hiring Quality Associates in the Powder Springs, GA area! The Quality Associate is responsible for conducting routine tests and inspections on products, assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with data collection. The technician performs capability studies, first-piece inspections & records results, as well as assisting with ISO compliance and training. The Quality Technician participates in special projects as needed and works with other departments to ensure a quality product.
Responsibilities:
Associates degree or commensurate experience in a related field required
Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
Blueprint reading skills are strongly preferred.
Experience operating Faro equipment, CAD/CAM experience and Tooling Design experience preferred.
Previous experience in CNC/Press Brake/Oxy-Fuel machining strongly preferred. PPAP/APQP experience also preferred.
Pay & Shift:
$20/HR
Monday-Friday, 7AM – 4:30 PM
Requirements:
Must Pass a background check and drug screening
Strong analytical skills required.
ERP knowledge required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, write, and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong understanding of quality control documents, tolerances, and requirements.
Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, and safety/quality conscious.
