United Talent is immediately hiring Family Services Associates in Huntington, WV!
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest and donor services while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.
- Manage guest referrals, database entries, and communication in a timely and accurate manner.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock guest rooms and common areas using established checklists and procedures.
- Ensure food service areas are stocked, prepare meals or snacks as needed, and manage in-kind donations.
- Conduct shift walkthroughs, address maintenance and housekeeping needs, and report issues to the Director of Operations.
- Supervise and coordinate volunteers and community service groups; notify staff of any coverage changes.
- Provide tours for visitors, assist with events and fundraising activities, and support development efforts.
- Respond promptly to guest and hospital partner needs or emergencies during assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Maintain email and shared calendar communication; ensure accurate documentation and adherence to policies.
- Uphold cleanliness, hospitality, and safety standards at all times.
Pay & Shift: $13 an hour, every Saturday & Sunday 3:00pm-9:00pm
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of nonprofit experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Compassionate and professional when supporting families in medical crisis.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, sanitation and safety procedures, and use of PPE.
- Experience working with diverse and multi-generational populations.
