United Talent is currently hiring a 2nd Shift Injection Mold Operator in the Braselton, Georgia area.
Job Duties:
• Perform basic setup and operation of plastic injection molding machines
• Document processes and procedures
• Set up work cells and auxiliary equipment
• Set up equipment for secondary operations
• Troubleshoot and problem solve injection molding, auxiliary, and secondary
operations
• Inventory, identify, select, and prepare resins for molding
• Perform equipment maintenance and basic repairs
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment
• Inspect parts for qualification
• Select molding setup parameters for new tooling
• Knows how to perform quality test on each product type.
• Help train new operators on injection molding machines
• Performs daily Preventative Maintenance on tools
• Acts as team lead.
• Other duties as assigned
Pay and Shift: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm. $30/hr; overtime as needed
Must be able to train on 1st shift to start
Requirements:
- Completion of Mold Technology training or 5+ years equivalent work experience
- High school diploma or General Educational Development diploma
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be able to properly use all Personal Protective Equipment
- Basic math
- Blueprint reading
Essential Functions:
- ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb ladders or equipment.
- Maximum unassisted lift – 50 lbs. Average lift less than 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and requires hearing protection.
- Safety shoes and eye protection are also required.
- Temperature environment can range from 0 degrees to 110 degrees
