- Starting at $20.00/hour, based on experience
Job Responsibilities
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, switches, outlets, and fixtures
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members
- Assist with training and mentoring apprentice electricians
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and applicable electrical codes
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work
- Experience with generators, electrical maintenance, and service upgrades is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
