United Talent Staffing is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver for a company in Parkersburg, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused driver seeking local routes, steady full-time hours, and the ability to be home every day.
Schedule and Pay
- Starting at $20.00 per hour
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM start time
- End time varies depending on the assigned route
- At least 40 hours per week
- Local routes with home-daily scheduling
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate manual and automatic commercial vehicles, including roll-off and dump trucks
- Transport materials and equipment to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete deliveries on time
- Load and unload materials and equipment safely
- Operate a forklift when needed
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip
- Report maintenance needs, mechanical issues, and safety concerns
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and required inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
Position Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with applicable endorsements
- Current DOT medical card
- Previous professional truck-driving experience
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic trucks
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Strong knowledge of DOT requirements and traffic regulations
- Ability to safely load and unload heavy materials
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to meet delivery deadlines
- Forklift or heavy-equipment experience is a plus
- Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check
