United Talent Staffing is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner for a Housing Authority in Charleston, WV. This weekday morning position is a great opportunity for someone seeking a consistent part-time schedule while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Schedule and Pay
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- 20 hours per week
- $14.10 per hour
- No evenings or weekends
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and frequently touched surfaces
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, or safety hazards to management
- Maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with residents and staff
- Complete other general cleaning duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25–40 pounds as needed
- Reliable transportation to and from work
