United Talent is immediately hiring a Service Technician for a local Charleston, WV handyman company.
Job Duties:
- Perform residential and commercial repairs, maintenance, and remodeling projects.
- Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, trim, and other building components.
- Repair fences, decks, siding, and other exterior structures.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding project timelines, recommendations, and completed work.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials used and services performed.
- Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of paid experience and skills across a broad spectrum of home maintenance/repair and remodeling skill categories.
Must have basic hand tools - Excellent customer communication skills required
- You must pass a background and MVR check
- Must take pride in work and delivers a great product each time
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Pay and Shift: Hours will be Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm, some overtime as needed and pay will start at $15 per hour but is based on experience.
