United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist with a strong manual machining background in the Fairmont, WV area. This position works with a variety of industrial and heavy-equipment components supporting mining, power stations, aluminum plants, and heavy machinery.
Pay & Schedule
- $27.50–$30.00/hour, based on experience
- Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Approximately 32–40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC equipment
- Perform manual machining as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes
- Complete machine setups and changeovers
- Machine new, replacement, and repair parts
- Measure and inspect finished parts to required tolerances
- Diagnose and resolve machining, tooling, and equipment issues
Ideal Experience
- Strong manual machining experience
- Prior CNC machining and programming experience
- Ability to complete projects from setup and programming through finished part
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Industrial or heavy-equipment machining experience preferred
