United Talent Staffing is currently seeking an HR Specialist in the Statesboro, GA area!

Pay and Shift:  $25.00 – $27.00,  1st shift 

Job Description:
We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions.HR Specialist responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge.  Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times

Essential Duties:

Recruitment and onboarding of employees, including creating job requisitions, coordinating offers, conducting pre-employment activities, onboarding, and applicable OFCCP reporting.
Generating necessary reports for payroll and HR, and coordinating all HR-related documents for job/employee status changes.
Planning, coordinating, and facilitating various training programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and standards.
Maintaining proper documentation and assisting with employee relations issues and vendor/supplier communication.
Conducting new hire orientation and ensuring that rules, regulations, and CBA information are reviewed and understood.
Assisting with employee recognition programs.
Participating in various aspects of safety, including safety audits, delivery of training programs, conducting job safety analysis, and identification and reconciliation of the root cause of safety incidents.
Compiling and analyzing monthly and annual statistics, and preparing and distributing various reports.
Assisting the HR Manager with Community Engagement activities and other corporate initiatives.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite.
Familiarity with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in navigating HRIS and other related systems (Workday, ATS, ADP, etc.).
Familiarity with standard Manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Intermediate knowledge of employment law.
Exposure to OSHA reporting, regulations, and compliance.

General Knowledge/Skills:

Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills suitable for interactions with all levels of the workforce.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of demonstrated HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
