United Talent Staffing is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Powder Springs, GA area!
Job Duties:
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all production machines
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and testing instruments
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitors compliance.
• Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Pay and Shift:
-
1st -shift, Monday-Thursday. 6:30am to 5pm

Pay: $25-$30 an hour (based on experience).
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including small hand tools
• Working knowledge of tools
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
