United Talent is immediately hiring for Forklift Operators for All Shifts at Gestamp in South Charleston, WV!
JOB DUTIES:
A forklift operator is responsible for operating industrial, powered forklift trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Their primary responsibilities include loading and unloading warehouse material, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and identifying damages to vehicles. Here are some common functions of forklift operators
- Load and unload inbound shipments!
- Move merchandize to storage locations
- Perform quality checks on inbound goods
- Carryout simple maintenance on the forklift, like recharging its battery and refueling
- Identify and report mechanical and electrical faults to the supervisor or to the right technicians
PAY & SHIFT:
1st Shift 7am-3:30p $16.00 per hour
2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm $16.75 per hour
3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am $16.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS:
Must Have Forklift Experience at least 1 year
No Certification Required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work in a non-temperature control environment
- No Education Required
