United Talent is immediately hiring a CAD operator in Saint Albans WV!
Job Duties:
- Preparing clear, complete, detailed electrical CAD drawings for customers.
- Coordinating with electrical engineers, other trade disciplines, and clients.
- Preparing project estimations, designs, and drawings.
- Developing BOMs, enclosure layouts, panel layouts, and fabrication drawings for electrical equipment.
- Developing drawings for electrical and instrumentation buildings.
Pay and Shift: Monday through Friday 8AM -5PM pay range is $20-30 per hour based on experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related field or trade school certification in electrical, drafting, design or equivalent.
- Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and electrical drawings.
- 2+ years’ experience in electrical drafting.
- Knowledge of the basic principles of engineering and construction.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
