United Talent is seeking a Client Support Specialist for a counseling center in the Chesapeake, OH area! Must be over the age of 21, must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a clean background to be considered for this position. 
Description: United Talent Staffing is recruiting experienced Client Support Specialists that have previous experience in this field of recovery or peer support behavioral health. The perfect fit for this position will be someone that is willing to be a sponge to soak up information and learn about the client’s business to better understand and assist in daily operations. An ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in keeping sensitive information confidential. The ideal candidate will also be someone that is punctual and personable with integrity and takes pride in the work that they do. Job Duties: 
• Responsible for providing community-based services that encourage appropriate multi-system involvement and to ensure continuity and effectiveness of services and/or systems to the client. 
• Provide Client Transportation as identified by the team.
• Assists clients in receiving SNAP benefits, health insurance and any other needs they may have such as social security cards, photo ID’s, etc. 
• Educate clients or community members about mental or physical illness, abuse, medication, or available community resources.
• Collect Urine Screens.
• Assist clients in adhering to treatment plans, such as setting up appointments, arranging transportation to appointments or providing support.
• Provides case management services. 
• Refer patient, client, or family to community resources for housing or treatment to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness, following through to ensure service efficacy.
• Communicate with families, probation officers, caseworkers, schools, and other interested parties to exchange necessary information during the treatment process and documents all client- related. contact in compliance with agency standards.
• Maintains a complete and updated clinical record for each assigned client; utilizes the agency’s established standard operating procedure to comply with documentation requirements.
• Engages in supervision, consultation, and applicable educational opportunities to develop expertise in the field of service.
• Participates in peer review process; conducts regular case compliance reviews of charts.
• Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Share information and demonstrate ability to listen openly and empathetically to others.
• Works collaboratively with fellow employees and others to achieve an identified goal and objectives.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by treating others with fairness and respect.
• Demonstrates the ability to pro-actively plan work and proceed with a task with limited instruction. Willingly steps up to take on new responsibilities or to help a co-worker complete a task.
• Supports the relationship between the agency and the community by demonstrating respectful, courteous, and cooperative behavior when interacting with clients, visitors, and other employees.
• Comply with agency policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates functional aspects of job knowledge as listed on the job description.
• Maintains professionalism in compliance with agency standards.
• Will maintain competency with technology related to job functions.
• All other duties as assigned throughout the course of employment.
