United Talent is seeking full- time CDL Class A Drivers in Lexington, KY area! The primary role of this position is to drive a manual transmission tractor trailer for the purpose of delivering various products from vendors and company distribution centers. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a clean background.
Must have a clean driving record
Pay and shift: $21-23 an hour. Based on experience. Monday -Friday 6am/7am-2pm/3pm (shifts may vary depending on route.) HOME DAILY!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive truck and deliver material to customers
- Unload materials from the truck
- Perform pre-trip inspections
- Comply with DOT regulations
- Keep an electric log if required
- Check truck to ensure correct material has been loaded
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Keep truck clean of all debris
- Attend all mandatory driver meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Ability to understand the applicable procedures documented in the training program
2. Ability to drive truck
3. Possession of valid driver’s license and appropriate class CDL
4. Ability to comply with DOT regulations
5. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
6. Ability to operate a crane and a forklift
7. Ability to keep a logbook if required
8. Basic math skills
9. High school diploma, training, and/or equivalent experience.
