United Talent Staffing is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician in the Morgantown, WV area. This is a great opportunity for experienced mechanics looking for stable, employment with opportunities for growth and skill development.
Pay & Shift
- $24.38/hour
- Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- After training: Four 10-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete inspections and maintain service records
- Repair brakes, suspension, steering, engines, and related components
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain issues
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience in diesel, fleet, truck, automotive, or heavy equipment maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Dependable with a strong commitment to safety
License Requirements
- CDL preferred but not required
- Candidates must be willing to obtain a CDL while employed
