United Talent is immediately hiring a Drywall installer for a construction company in Charleston WV!
Job Duties:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
- Hang and secure drywall using screws, nails, and other fasteners.
- Tape and finish drywall seams and joints.
- Apply joint compound and sand surfaces to create a smooth finish.
- Repair damaged drywall and patch holes or cracks as needed.
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Work with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Pay and Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay is $15 per hour.
Requirements:
- Previous drywall installation experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
