Position Characteristics:

Shifts:
1st shift: 8am to 5pm (Subject to change as needed)
2nd shift: 3pm to 12am
Pay: 16/HR
Time Line:
- Day 1 thru Day 60
- Warehouse Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activates.
- Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, packing orders.
- The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders for shipment or pickup (Pick, Pack, Wrap) accurately and timely
- Replenish stocking bins
- Use RF Scanner
- Maintain a clean and safe work station
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers
- Operating powered / nonpowered equipment may be required
- Some tasks require standing for extended periods of time while others involve walking, including climbing stairs
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 49 pounds, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Desired Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role of General Labor would have the following background & skills:
- Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to read and speak basic English
- Attention to detail is required to ensure correct item is picked, labeled and properly packed
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and willingness to learn
- To be flexible, open-minded and operate in a fast-pace environment
- Experience a plus to operate nonpowered equipment such as pallet jacks,
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High School Degree
- Ability to read and write in English.
