United Talent Staffing is seeking a dependable Custodian to support cleaning and facility operations at a large school or office facility in Danielsville, GA. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and security while ensuring the facility remains in excellent condition.

Position Summary
Position Title: Custodian
Location: Danielsville, GA
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform general janitorial and custodial duties throughout the facility
  • Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, strip, scrub, wax, and polish floors
  • Vacuum carpets and mats
  • Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean workspaces
  • Clean windows, walls, furniture, lockers, and drinking fountains
  • Disinfect restrooms and respond to emergency spills
  • Pick up debris and maintain entrances and walkways
  • Lock/unlock doors to ensure building security
  • Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor machines, etc.)
  • Assist with furniture setup for meetings and events
  • Report safety hazards or needed repairs to supervisor
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning tools and chemicals
  • Basic computer skills (email and room reservation systems preferred)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a safe, orderly environment
  • Flexible and dependable with strong communication skills
Experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required.

  • Standing/Walking: Continuous
  • Bending/Twisting: Frequent
  • Pushing/Pulling: Up to 75 lbs
  • Occasional reaching above shoulder level
  • Ability to meet physical demands of cleaning duties
