Maintenance Electrician – Manufacturing

Position Overview
United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining electrical systems, diagnosing equipment failures, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and electronic failures to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including motors, relays, switches, sensors, and other control devices.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Use electrical testing equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and electrical systems.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Ensure electrical installations and repairs comply with applicable safety standards.
  • Follow established safety procedures when working with electrical equipment, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Understanding of and ability to apply NFPA 79 electrical safety standards for industrial machinery.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical motors, relays, switches, sensors, and electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to use electrical diagnostic equipment and hand tools safely.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a maintenance team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and minimizing equipment downtime.
