Job Title: Edge Bander Operator
Location: Powder Springs, GA
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $15-$16 based on experience
Position Summary
United Talent Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Edge Bander Operator for a manufacturing facility in Powder Springs, GA. This position is responsible for safely operating edge banding equipment to meet production goals. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Functions
(Other duties may be assigned)
  • Operate machinery that applies PVC banding material to various panel types using hot melt glue
  • Load and install raw materials into the machine
  • Adjust conveyor systems and trimming saws based on panel width and thickness
  • Set up, calibrate, and test machines prior to production runs
  • Monitor and regulate conveyor belt speeds
  • Adjust glue output as needed for quality and efficiency
  • Set machine stops to match stock dimensions
  • Adjust end trimmers and buffer wheels as required
  • Mix glue when necessary
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Education & Required Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools such as digital calipers and tape measures
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced production setting
