United Talent Staffing is immediately hiring an Operations Manager / Project Manager for a growing remodeling company in West Virginia.
In this role, you’ll serve as the operational backbone of the business, overseeing project planning, scheduling, field execution, budgeting, and team performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results.
You’ll work closely with ownership and office leadership to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and support long-term company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including project planning, scheduling, estimating, and execution
- Assign and manage field technicians based on project scope and skillset
- Ensure materials, labor, and equipment are ready before projects begin
- Monitor projects for safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain craftsmanship standards
- Manage job budgets to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation
- Maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Train and mentor team members to drive operational excellence
- Promote a safety-first, integrity-driven company culture
- Track key performance indicators such as job cost, schedules, and profitability
- Estimate projects both remotely and on-site
- Follow up on proposals to secure profitable projects
- Support business growth through repeat customers and referrals
Qualifications:
- WV Contractor’s License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- 10–15 years of residential remodeling or construction experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational software
- Proven experience managing technicians, budgets, and schedules
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000 annually
- Quarterly Profit Bonus: 10% of company profit
