Operator Qualification Analyst

Job Summary:
The Operator Qualification Analyst will support our Operator Qualification Specialist at our Clarksburg, WV training facility. The successful candidate must be detail orientated and knowledgeable in 49 CFR 192 Subpart N. This role will ensure that the organization is in compliance with all federal regulations pertaining to operator qualifications required to work on natural gas pipelines and facilities. This will include, but is not limited to tracking training, working in the ITS Onboard system, and verify all qualifications are documented correctly.
Job Duties:
- Assists the Operator Qualification Specialist on Operator Qualification processes, training, and testing.
- Assists with managing the Operator Qualification program for all parts of the company, and maintaining the OQ program in accordance with 49 CFR 192 Subpart N.
- Monitors records and evaluations to verify all employees are properly qualified to perform tasks designated in their scope of work.
- Maintains and audits documentation being submitted by instructors to verify the completeness of the record.
- Identifies qualification gaps and works with the training team to schedule employees in need of requalification or more training.
- Provides support and guidance in conversations pertaining to the company’s Operator Qualification plan.
- Researches standards to identify any new regulatory items that pertain to the company in regards to pipeline construction or operation.
- Other duties as necessary.
Pay: 25/HR
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Operator Qualification; distribution preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication to provide effective feedback.
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft products
- Able to work independently, and communicate with the training team
- Strong understanding of the technical skills required to perform pipeline construction roles
- The knowledge and ability to work safely and rectify any unsafe condition.
- Basic leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ITS Onboard or other OQ management software
- Knowledge of DOT CFR 49 part 192 subpart N.
- Prior experience as an OQ compliance analyst
- Knowledge of natural gas pipeline and distribution operating requirements
