Parts Counter Specialist
Location: Uniontown, PA
Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience)

United Talent Staffing is hiring a Parts Counter Specialist for a well-established company in the Uniontown, PA area. If you enjoy solving problems, helping customers, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Whether you have previous parts counter experience or a strong mechanical background with a willingness to learn, we're looking for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service while keeping operations running smoothly.
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • When scheduled on a Saturday, you'll receive a weekday off.
What You'll Do
As the first point of contact for many customers, you'll play an important role in helping them find the right parts quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone with identifying the correct parts
  • Research parts using computerized inventory systems, catalogs, and diagrams
  • Process orders, quotes, payments, returns, and special orders
  • Answer customer questions and recommend products based on their needs
  • Check pricing, availability, and order status
  • Coordinate with vendors and follow up on backordered items
  • Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory
  • Maintain accurate customer and inventory records
  • Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient
  • Work closely with customers, technicians, vendors, and teammates
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer service
What We're Looking For
  • Previous parts counter, automotive, industrial, equipment, or parts sales experience preferred
  • Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable using computers and learning inventory management systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Ability to lift and move parts and inventory as needed
