United Talent is immediately hiring 2nd Shift Forklift Operators for Gestamp in South Charleston, WV!
Job Responsibilities: A forklift operator is responsible for operating industrial powered forklift trucks to load and unload material throughout the warehouse. Additional duties required:
- Moving merchandized to storage locations
- Perform quality checks on inbound goods
- Carryout simple maintenance on forklift (recharging battery and refueling)
- Identify and report mechanical and electrical faults to supervisor/technician
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and identifying damages to vehicles
Pay & Shift: 16.75/HR; 3pm – 11:30pm
Requirements:
- 1 year of forklift experience (certification not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- No education required
