Position Summary:
|
This position requires a self-starting, highly motivated person who possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, educate and influence others by maintaining trust and building rapport with both customers and associates.
|
Primary Objectives:
|
- Recruiting and Candidate Onboarding – Job postings on various online sites, scheduling appointments, conducting interviews, performing skills validation testing on applicants, completion of new hire paperwork, maintaining files and personnel records, conducting background checks and drug screenings, develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need and maintain regular contact with them. Occasionally attend job fairs, college visits and other recruiting and networking events.
- Placement and Customer Service – Work closely with customers to determine their staffing needs, analyzing and matching up associates to the positions requested by customer, ensure each associate is working in a comfortable and safe environment, communicate with the candidate all pertinent information regarding the assignment, efficiently and effectively fill open positions while keeping in contact with customer during the process, stay fully educated on customer processes and policies to ensure 100% contract compliance.
- Administrative Duties & Recordkeeping – Database management and data integrity, verifying weekly payroll hours as needed or missing, assist with front desk and admin duties as needed, promptly answering emails and telephone calls, assist and backup absent team members.
- Human Resources – Greet candidates with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel relaxed, welcomed, and valued, providing coaching/counseling to associates, provide detailed documentation in system regarding communication with associates such as complaints, resume submissions, job denials, injury claims, etc.), report potential legal matters to management immediately, report injury claims to management and online reporting tool immediately while keeping in touch with injured associate and customer.
- Attend company sponsored and ASA suggested training and webinar sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills:
|
- High School diploma required, college or additional training preferred.
- Human Resources, Recruiting and Sales experience preferred.
- CSP or HR certification preferred.
- Proficient using email and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Comfortable doing in depth interviews with individuals to determine whether they would be a good candidate for placement and what their strengths and weaknesses are, while keeping in mind possible positions they may be qualified for.
- Have strong ability to respond appropriately to various situations and able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision.
- Must possess good grammar and communication skills, both verbally (in person and on phone) and written, including professional email responses and online recruiting sites.
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork with a positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, impeccable attention to detail and able to follow standard processes.
- Capable of maintaining the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
- Ability to travel and at times be able to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
