Untied Talent is looking for a Teller/Sales Associate in the Huntington area. The ideal candidate is a go–getter type person who is willing to learn more about the banking business with training. Very outgoing and Your day-to-day tasks primarily involve processing bank transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Applicants should have some prior experience working as a bank teller, bookkeeper, or in another cash handling position. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Pay and shifts: pay range is $10-12 based on experience, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, (1:00-1:30pm lunch break)
Teller Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
- Assist bank customers with check cashing and ordering checks Issue cashier's checks, money orders, and traveler's checks
- Verify customer signatures before disbursing money
- Promote bank products and services, make cold call sales.
- Report possible fraud to branch managers
Teller Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Experience in a cash handling position, such as cashier or bookkeeper
- Customer service skills
- Flexibility in schedule
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Work independently
